Guilt Trip

The last article alleged many a thing about being misunderstood, deceived and how i acquired the love of my life in the end! But what spawned the guilt is his invaluable reaction to it. Tears glinted in his eyes, "I love you so much, you are my life and I owe you mine",he said, as soon as he finished reading. In the verge of tears, I surmised how deliberately I shadowed the things I did in this one year.
I was in love, true that, Yet I never breathed about it, never dared to articulate it. I flirted around, trying to evolve into a philanderer, altogether futile. Party, booze, smoke and night club, i loved getting wasted. The noise around me was hankering as the flames engulfed my inner ones. Though it was sickening as the conscience would come back with the conscious, sinister! To escape from it all, I kept myself busy and worked 15 hours a day. To everyone i was the happy, lucky and famous chick, alone i knew the hollow self.
I acted like a coquette and seemed easy to come. Morosely, i was separated by a veil that none could see. It was maddening for me but tempting for the ditsy dickheads as they failed to reach out to me and i failed to shed the veil over me, one more time. I was a soap bubble, joyous and gleaming in light, gloomy and invisible in the night.
The fate had its own game to play. The sun started beaming once again. I was with him! Despite the confession of the adoration, i never stopped stringing along. I hurt him once with the new age weapon "inbox" and ensured to never do it again. Alas! i still didn't get the malfeasance of flirting. There is a fine line between being highly socializing and flirting. Sadly, i never really got the difference.
Too many guys trying to hit on me and as he believed the reason was flirting. I pledged that the habit has stopped utterly, never realizing it was etched in my system deep. Again he found out and was broken apart. Instead of screaming his guts out on me, he blamed himself for not really being with me. I was aghast and i felt terrible, imbibing guilt. There i realized for the first time what the big deal was about being a vamp.
May he say "It's okay" a thousand times, its still a mistake i can't forgive myself for. To me its a sin, tempting and deadly. Once committed, contemptible. He must have forgiven or forgotten, but its burnt inside me leaving a scar. Maybe i wouldn't have felt so much if he had just drowned me in his pool of anger. But the love burned me to ashes.
The mere thought of hurting him engenders repugnance. Yet I did it twice, hence UNFORGIVEN.

P.S- "Whatever happens, life goes on!"

Perseverance Personified

Hola!
I am here again with ample to utter about love and friends. It is, at times astounding how ironic life becomes without these two.For all my life, my friends have been my backbone. From giving moral support to giving the cheapest 'gaalis' and most of all, being acquiescent to my delirious ideas, they have been there for me all the time.
And in the middle of all the ambivalence in my life, a "friend" turned into a special someone.
During these aeons, for me love was just a thing shared amongst friends, an innocent thing turning into lust when surpassed. But this person loomed into my life to elucidate the meaning of "Love" and certainly to personify the almighty Perseverance!
Precisely an year ago, this guy caught my sight. Evidently standing out amid a lousy crowd. Nonetheless, i started seeing pie in the sky but to my surprise, the pie turned real and i was in for a treat. ;)
Me being me, i started socializing with this truly irresistible alien guy. With me being me and him being him, the game of the specious love was set upon. His mere presence got me intoxicated. Hell yes! I was infatuated. The game caught me off-guard. Maybe it was the intoxication of his existence or aqua vitae of Akshay tambe, I stumbled upon love and epic-ly failed to get the message clear.  Despite the aspersion and the asphyxiation i fell in love with him. And he...merely fell on me.
Soon everything came to a crashing halt. I was left bewildered and flustered. Alas! He got his seemingly "perfect" chick.
With vengeance in my heart and with a slight trace of altruism, i let him go. Yet, I stood there, poised myself in the moor of diligence. With an unnatural veil over, I remembered "For future is a clay, to be molded day by day  but the past is a bedrock, immutable."
Fate danced upon my head, but this time for the win. He was back with a frigid sorry which didn't matter to me. I was with him again though befuddled by the relation we shared. The great old story of the three ambiguous friends: love, lust and friends; was all over again! Confusion beamed at us mockingly.
Many a talk about falling apart and many a try to pull together. The best times of my life were indeed the worst ones. Howbeit, i cherished every second and longed for more. So certain about the uncertainties, i made it through. The ironic cupid hit him too.:D On that mellow night love bloomed.
Since then life became mellifluous and me insouciant. He proved his mettle and made me fall over and over. Empathy enriched, he gave me everything i wanted, everything i needed and i still wonder 'when this metamorphosis happened?!'
He is the apple of my eye and the beat of my heart. A little more than everything and a bright sun beaming.
The magnanimity got us going and the trust helped us surmount. A thousand doubts were cleared and a hundred question answered, as he fell in love with me and we got together.
Love defined itself and perseverance comprehended. And its over an year already! I still love him, more than i ever did and a little less than i ever will!
With this i say the authentic phrase "If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, it was meant to be and it was always yours". If you genuinely want something, perseverance and patience are the keys.

And you my dear Akshay Tambe a.k.a. Mela akkidooo,
You will always be loved.
